At its core, St. Patrick's Festival is a global celebration of the very best of Irish arts, culture and heritage. It is the number one initiative for Brand Ireland globally with audiences from 144 countries. THE HIVE has been the festival’s strategic partners since 2018. Our work includes stakeholder engagement, issues management, sponsor promotion, and a multi-layered strategic national media relations campaign.

The impact of this iconic Festival is astonishing. In 2024, it delivered an overall media reach of 400m+, publicity worth €522m, a digital and social media reach of 22m, a live audience in excess of 600k, a TV audience of 386k with a market share of 51%. And that’s before we tally the 4,200 artists who work on it, and the 11,000 days of employment created by it! Beyond its cultural significance, St. Patrick's Festival plays a pivotal role in driving economic prosperity across the nation; a recent economic impact research estimates that St. Patrick’s Festival returns roughly €113 million to the Irish economy.
